Key Stage 3 – Years 7–9
Our Key Stage 3 curriculum builds on the knowledge, and skills students have developed at primary school and provides a strong foundation for future study.
Students study a broad range of subjects, including:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Geography
- History
- Modern Foreign Languages
- Computing
- Religious Education
- Art & Photography
- Design & Technology
- Food & Nutrition
- Drama
- Music
- Physical Education
- PSHE / personal development
Students also have opportunities to develop their wider skills, interests and personal development through the wider curriculum.
Key Stage 4 – Years 10–11
At Key Stage 4, students continue to study a core curriculum alongside the subjects they have selected through the Year 9 Options process.
The core curriculum includes:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Physical Education
- Religion and Philosophy
- PSHE / personal development
- Business Studies

Assessment and Attitude to Learning
We monitor students’ progress throughout Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and use assessment to help identify strengths and areas for development.
Students are also supported to develop positive attitudes towards their learning, including independence, resilience and a commitment to making progress.
