Our SEN department is dedicated to helping every student thrive. We partner with teachers to support all learners, with tailored guidance for students facing learning barriers, specific learning difficulties, or disabilities. Our priority is making sure every student enjoys full access to our broad curriculum, resources, and school opportunities.
Is proudly autistic, with a PhD in Psychological Medicine from the Institute of Psychiatry, and a parent to neurodivergent children. She translates research into clear, practical strategies for schools and families; no jargon, just ideas you can use tomorrow.
They are here to transform lives by providing support, information and practical advice for more than 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK, and their families and support networks.
They also work to change attitudes by improving public understanding of autism, challenging misinformation, and helping businesses, public services and government to create more inclusive environments, deliver better services and improve laws.
The Specialist Inclusion Support Service (SISS) is a high quality, specialist teaching and advisory service, made up of 4 specialist teams. The teams provide a range of support for children and young people with SEND and their families, as well as assessment and advice, training and direct support to schools and early years settings.
The Solihull Special Educational Needs & Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIAS) offers impartial information, advice and support to children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities.
The service is impartial, confidential, and free. If you’re a parent or young person being assessed, the service can:
- Help you to understand the referral process
- Act as a named contact throughout the process
- Help you to communicate with everyone involved in the assessment process
- Provide information about personal budgets

At the All Age Autism Support Service (AAASS), they are dedicated to offering comprehensive and compassionate support to individuals on the autism spectrum, regardless of age. Whether you’re a child, adolescent, adult, or senior, their services are tailored to meet your unique needs, ensuring that you and your family can thrive at every stage of life.
They believe in the strength and potential of each individual. Their mission is to provide not only the resources and tools needed to navigate life’s challenges but also to create opportunities for personal growth, independence, and connection within the community.
They independent parent carers working together to raise awareness and improve outcomes for all children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND 0-25).
They work with organisations that provide services for families. They are completely independent of the Local Council and Health services which lets them share the experiences and ideas of parent carers, giving them a voice and effect positive change.
