Absence

If your child is absent, please let us know the reason why by either:

A. Telephoning: 0121 706 9771 and choosing Option 1 for the absence line.

B. Emailing: absence@langley.solihull.sch.uk 

Please contact us before 8.30am on each day if your child is absent or is going to arrive late to school. If we have not heard from you, we will text your child’s main contact to request a reason for absence if your child has not been registered. You will be able to reply to the text to inform us of the reason for absence, which will then be recorded on your child’s attendance record. Please keep us notified of any changes of contact telephone numbers or email addresses.

The absence line should be used for any absence - late arrival - request for holiday - appointments - sick absence - sporting activities.
