Homework, which may take many forms including that of continuing with classwork or projects and assignments, will be set weekly - and must be carefully and thoroughly done and handed in on time. Homework timetable requirements will be given to students in at the beginning of the Autumn Term.
Equally, students must be ready to undertake extra homework, which may not be timetabled, if it is appropriate to a particular stage of a subject. The support of parents in ensuring that homework is conscientiously done in appropriate surroundings is much appreciated.
The ability to study independently becomes increasingly important as students progress through the school and good habits established at an early age pay dividends later.
Students will receive homework via Class Charts, which is a simple online homework tool that allows Langley students and parents to quickly and easily access homework that has been set by subject staff for classes and individuals.
As students and parents of Langley, individual login details exist to be alerted to homework set. Students will also receive a school email address which they will be able to use to send school work to and from school.
