GCSE Results 2023

Congratulations to the Class of 2023 at Langley School!

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2023 at Langley who have achieved an excellent set of GCSE results which will now set them up to move onwards and upwards in their future studies and careers. Our pupils worked very hard and demonstrated strong levels of resilience and determination, demonstrating our school motto to ‘be the best we can be’.

Not only have pupils made excellent progress but they have achieved some very high results, including Ella who achieved 9 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 8 as well as Maddie, achieving 6 Grade 9s, 1 Grade 8 and 3 Grade 7s and Cheuk-Yin who achieved 5 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 7.

Langley pupils achieve highly and make good progress during their time with us. This year, pupils attained highly and the number of pupils achieving the EBacc qualification (the measure used by the government for entry and attainment in English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Languages) is once again very strong.

Headteacher, Clare Thorpe said: ‘Despite disruption over the last few years due to the pandemic, our young people at Langley have shown real determination and achieved great success in their GCSE studies. We are so proud of them and we are thankful to their families, our staff and governing board for all of their support in helping our young people to achieve academically as well as personally during their time with us.’

We wish all of our pupils the very best for their futures, as they take their next steps now on their post-16 journeys and throughout their lives. It is our aim for every young person at Langley to achieve an excellent set of qualifications which will open doors for them for the rest of their lives whilst also striving to be happy, kind and compassionate people who will lead successful and fulfilling lives.
