Be the best we can be

Useful Contacts

Dear Parents,

Firstly, we want to congratulate all Year 11 students on the way they have conducted themselves during the examination period. We have been incredibly impressed by their behaviour and dedication to their examinations. We are sure that you are very proud of them and are eagerly awaiting their results.

GCSE exam results will be sent to students’ school email addresses at 8.30 am on Thursday 24th August. Students are also invited into school on the same day between 9.00am – 10.30am to collect paper copies of their results. Leavers hoodies and year books will also be available for collection on results day.

Students should come to the canteen on results day, where they will be met by members of staff who will provide them with their results. Members of the SLT will also be available to discuss any queries or concerns about results. For careers advice, Mrs Chachou and an adviser from the Careers Service will also be available.

Results belong to the student and, in line with our Data Protection Policy, cannot be given to anyone else without the student’s permission. Therefore, if students are unable to make it on results day, they should complete this consent form giving authorisation and details of the person collecting on their behalf.

If a result is not as expected, there are several post results services available. Full details of these services and how to request them will accompany the results.

Exam certificates will be presented at the formal awards evening on Thursday 23rd November.  If you are unable to collect your certificates on that evening, you will be able to collect them from the school office during normal school opening times until 22nd November 2024, after which we are not obliged to retain them. If you are unable to collect your certificates in person, you will need to complete this consent form providing authorisation for someone to collect on your behalf.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 24th August.
